Revision 1.1.1.1 (vendor branch), Tue Mar 4 16:07:07 2008 UTC (16 years, 6 months ago) by nbrk
Branch: OPENBSD_4_2_BASE, MAIN
CVS Tags: jornada-partial-support-wip, HEAD Changes since 1.1: +0 -0 lines
Import of OpenBSD 4.2 release kernel tree with initial code to support
Jornada 720/728, StrongARM 1110-based handheld PC.
At this point kernel roots on NFS and boots into vfs_mountroot() and traps.
What is supported:
- glass console, Jornada framebuffer (jfb) works in 16bpp direct color mode
(needs some palette tweaks for non black/white/blue colors, i think)
- saic, SA11x0 interrupt controller (needs cleanup)
- sacom, SA11x0 UART (supported only as boot console for now)
- SA11x0 GPIO controller fully supported (but can't handle multiple interrupt
handlers on one gpio pin)
- sassp, SSP port on SA11x0 that attaches spibus
- Jornada microcontroller (jmcu) to control kbd, battery, etc throught
the SPI bus (wskbd attaches on jmcu, but not tested)
- tod functions seem work
- initial code for SA-1111 (chip companion) : this is TODO
Next important steps, i think:
- gpio and intc on sa1111
- pcmcia support for sa11x0 (and sa1111 help logic)
- REAL root on nfs when we have PCMCIA support (we may use any of supported pccard NICs)
- root on wd0! (using already supported PCMCIA-ATA)

* ssinh.sa 3.1 12/10/90
*
* The entry point sSinh computes the hyperbolic sine of
* an input argument; sSinhd does the same except for denormalized
* input.
*
* Input: Double-extended number X in location pointed to
* by address register a0.
*
* Output: The value sinh(X) returned in floating-point register Fp0.
*
* Accuracy and Monotonicity: The returned result is within 3 ulps in
* 64 significant bit, i.e. within 0.5001 ulp to 53 bits if the
* result is subsequently rounded to double precision. The
* result is provably monotonic in double precision.
*
* Speed: The program sSINH takes approximately 280 cycles.
*
* Algorithm:
*
* SINH
* 1. If |X| > 16380 log2, go to 3.
*
* 2. (|X| <= 16380 log2) Sinh(X) is obtained by the formulae
* y = |X|, sgn = sign(X), and z = expm1(Y),
* sinh(X) = sgn*(1/2)*( z + z/(1+z) ).
* Exit.
*
* 3. If |X| > 16480 log2, go to 5.
*
* 4. (16380 log2 < |X| <= 16480 log2)
* sinh(X) = sign(X) * exp(|X|)/2.
* However, invoking exp(|X|) may cause premature overflow.
* Thus, we calculate sinh(X) as follows:
* Y := |X|
* sgn := sign(X)
* sgnFact := sgn * 2**(16380)
* Y' := Y - 16381 log2
* sinh(X) := sgnFact * exp(Y').
* Exit.
*
* 5. (|X| > 16480 log2) sinh(X) must overflow. Return
* sign(X)*Huge*Huge to generate overflow and an infinity with
* the appropriate sign. Huge is the largest finite number in
* extended format. Exit.
